The mission of AAUW is to advance equality for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. Branch programs and speakers this year will focus on both local and national issues like the challenges faced by women business owners, political issues, and raising awareness about Sexual Assault. Our branch will also continue our fundraising to send Buena Vista University students to the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) by hosting a Soup & Pie Fundraiser in the Fall and by the triumphant return of the fun Bunco & Books Fundraiser in the Spring.
